Privacy Policy

Aircraft Insurance Bermuda is operated by EC Global Promotions Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or request an aviation insurance quote, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you.

1. Information we collect

When you submit a quote request or contact us, we may collect: your name, email address, phone number, and postal address; details about your aircraft (registration, make and model, value, home base); details relevant to underwriting (pilot certificates, ratings, flight experience, claims history, intended use); and any other information you choose to provide in your enquiry.

We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit the site, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring pages, via cookies and analytics tools.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to: prepare and arrange aircraft insurance quotations; pass your details to relevant aviation underwriters and insurance markets so they can assess and price your risk; respond to enquiries and provide customer and claims support; comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and improve our website and services.

3. How we share your information

We share personal information with aviation insurance underwriters, brokers and markets as needed to obtain and place your cover, with service providers who help us operate this website (such as hosting, email delivery, spam and fraud prevention, and analytics providers), and with regulators or authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics and similar tools to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. These tools may set cookies or use similar technologies. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the site may not work as intended if you do.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, to comply with legal, regulatory, tax and accounting requirements, and to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.

6. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International transfers

Because we work with aviation underwriters and service providers in different countries, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including countries that may have different data protection laws. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, update or request deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to request a copy of your information in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

9. Third-party links

This website may contain links to third-party websites, including insurance underwriters and partner sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

10. Children's privacy

This website and our services are intended for adults arranging aircraft insurance. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy
